With each of the Jet series I see the limits to which some will go for revenge or the proverbial payback. This installment is no exception. No matter how bad the bad guys are they seem to just not get that someone can be more determined than they or better than they. That they got over on so many others without reprisals yet expect the right to respond for things done to them is mind - boggling! But art mimics life and the hoodlums always want to be one up on their enemies. This book has this in spades. It is well - written and edge - of - your - seat exciting. I had to remember to set a personal alarm so I'd get to bed on work nights!Product details

Once again Jet becomes involved in an exciting story. She begins by having people trying to kill her. She has to hide Hannah and begin a pursuit
of the people who are after her. She picks up a trail tha ends up in the United States in the Washington D.C. area. The assassin is a man that she thought she had previously killed. She is sucessful in killing him and his assistant. During her investigation she discovers that she needs to use her killing skills on others. Once again she comes through. Another fine book by Russell Blake.
Well written, good editing, nonstop action. A former Mossad agent wants to stop killing and come back to a normal life but she made too many enemies. Good change of places where she has to fight for her life, resolve an emotional issue, and find a safe place for herself and her little daughter, and if possible, with her man at her side. People die, not always in a pleasant way. The technical details are handled well, and the author knows his weapons very well. The fourth book in a series that threatens to torture the poor agent for a long time. I already bought the next in this series.
The Jet series by Russell Blake is about a young and beautiful Mossad agent who is more than a no-holds-barred, kick-ass, take not prisoners who is more skilled at her profession than most men ever thought about being. she is also a loving, sensitive mother who wants the bad in the world to go away and leave her alone. But it does not happen because the very skills that have kept her alive keep dragging her back into the action she'd rather not deal with but has to for the greater good of all innocents who are affected. Doing this while trying to keep her little girl safe and trying find a healthy and real relationship of her own is a tightrope almost to narrow and shaky to traverse. And she keeps losing people she is really close to along the way. It's a psychological thriller with action, intelligent and fleeting romance along the way. Blake is a master at this kind of story and the Jet series highlights his many skills. Well researched, well thought out and very well presented. I love these books!
Just finished RECKONING completing the four book JET series I started right after Christmas. If you enjoyed the Bourne adventures as much as I did, you will love Jet and, like me, will not be able to put them down til you've read them all and find yourself begging for more.
Jet is the female assassin as smart and capable as Jason Bourne who only wants a world where she can enjoy raising her child and find love. However, there always seems to be some menacing evil that won't allow her to do just that. Can't wait for the next Jet adventure and will bide my time reading other Russell Blake thrillers in the meantime. Highly Recommend!
Russell Blake is the author of the very action suspense filled Jet series, she is a heroin that really doesn't want to be one,but she has the uncanny skills to become the best at what she does in the world. Circumstances have refused to let her alone,so when she, her family,or close friends are threatened by seemingly unbeatable forces she changes into a very dangerous person that brings the battle right to the front door of the perps. This 4th book of the series, is in my opinion not as exciting as the first 3, It spends too much time away from the action and dwells on Jets romantic life,not that there's anything wrong with that, but for me it interupts the action, and slows the story down. If you like action with romance than this book would be great for you.
Reckoning, the fourth book in Russell Blake's series of JET accelerates an impossibly fast story to another level. Your bum will hardly touch the seat until you've read this thriller and there is no way you're going to put it down at any stage. it's called Reckoning and the title is apt, although it might be reckoning at any price. You will have it hammered home that there are worse things than dying... Russell Blake has an amazing gift to capture your 120% attention with his novels and, come to think of it, I'd better start with number 5 now...
I have read through eight volumes of the Jet series in the last 3-4 weeks including the Ops book. Once you start you can't put them down. Blake's writing is constant excitement with scarcely a dull moment. If you think the parkour abilities are far fetched Google an example. A little too much time rescuing Hannah lately but that is a minor complaint. Taking a break before reading volume 8. If you like the Jason Bourne movies you'll love the Jet series.
